Polish Chemical Society

 

Polish Chemical Society is the oldest and the most eminent scientific societies in Poland and since 1919 acts on chemical sciences. The aims of the Society are promotion of chemical sciences and knowledge. PCS organizes meetings, sessions and conferences; public lectures and scientific courses; issues its own journals and publications; takes care of the merits of the chemical contest; awards prizes, distinctions and medals in the field of chemistry; provides information for chemistry; elaborates and formulates opinions in all cases connected with development and education in chemistry.

PCS leads unique in world scale Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum. There are pictures, letters, documents connected with life and scientific activity the Polish twice Nobel laureate.
